The Temple of Love is a queer multi-sensory sacred experience merging art, ritual, beauty and immersive spiritual practice in a radical way for holistic well-being. Va Va Venus is an unconventional alternative to Valentine's Day held on the last full moon in January to ignite unconditional love for self and others. Come break open your heart and deepen your connection to source and your inner truth during this feast of love. This is a great workshop to do with a partner to honor your love or to meet someone new and connect in a loving way.

Great to practice with a lover, loved one, partner, friend or solo. You will be invited to explore solo and partner activities. Come dressed in comfortable clothing so that you can move and meditate. Bring a prayer cushion or mat. There will also be items for use at the space. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

About Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini energy is the powerful, sensual and creative shakti energy coiled at the base of the spine. A Kundalini Yoga kriya is a series of postures, breath, and sound that work on the body. The word kriya means action. Practicing a kriya initiates a sequence of physical and mental effects on the body, mind, and spirit. Through the angles and triangles of the asanas, fueled by the prana of the breath, re-tuned by the repetition of mantra, concentrated eye-focus and body locks, kriyas assist the physical and mental preparation of a blissful and meditative inner climate.
About Ayurveda
Ayurveda is a holistic and ancient system of wellness developed by sages in India for balancing the body and mind. Ayurveda is the science of life (Ayur = life, Veda = science or knowledge), a body of wisdom designed to help people stay radiant, healthy and realize their full potential. The practice known as Abhyanga – anointing oneself with warm oil from head to tow - is considered one of the highest expressions of self-love. The Sanskrit word Sneha can be translated as both “oil” and “love.” The effects of Abhyanga are similar to those of being in love, particularly a deep feeling of stability and warmth. Aromatherapy, the therapeutic use of essential oils, is a highly pleasurable form of natural medicine used within Ayurveda for protecting the vital force, prana, and overall health.
About Expressive Arts
Expressive arts therapy or creative arts therapy, is the use of the creative arts as a form of self discovery. Unlike traditional art expression, the process of creation is emphasized rather than the final product.
